I just had this video shown in my feed, what an amazing level of craffmanship, the attention put to the process is something to be jealous of. I have one question, why forged carbon instead of the far more aesthetically pleasing carbon fiber infusion? is not a lot harder to do, and while forged carbon is often stronger it's not a property that seems necessary in this setup

I just landed on this channel, and I am a bit perplexed tbh. On one hand, the videos are absolutely perfect, from colors to dof of the cameras. on win11 you can record screen with win+shift+R btw.. altough the over the shoulder shots were very pleasant to the eye, and refreshing. But on the other hand, the prototyping could be cut 90% shorter and faster and save on all the material costs, with just downloading an free iPhone model online, and model the charger a bit further out, so that the cables issues could be taken account all too.. It seems like someone (inherited) a fortune and then furnished ideal workshop and then made an project to show the capabilities with his machines. So in that sense, great portfolio work! Also it's quite funny to me to deal with my annexiety with heat insterts not pushed in with an soldering iron, and istead glue.. I mean sure why not but then again, why would you glue.. :D the heat inserts tips for the solder iron cost like few eur.. I get that it's just the beginning of this channel and with all sincerity I hope this grows sky high, the dedication and quality is clearly there, absolute pleasure to watch, but it is a bit like the "how to sharpen pencils" video vimeo.com/60718161 :D In a sense that, it's the most expensive way of making an simple phone charger.. Anyway hope you can take some critisism. Also resins are toxic af, could mention it to people watching that, proper ventilation and or masks are a must.

I wanted to ask if when you use resin and make molds from silicone forms, do you degas the resin in a vacuum chamber and then put it into a pressure pot to cure?
